Super Easy Garlic Sausage and Spinach Campanelle

This has to be one of the most easiest and delicious meals ever. I’m not joking when I tell you my most favorite recipes are ones that are the simple, require minimal ingredients, yet still tastes wonderful. When I first made this, I used to use sweet sausage but Mike has finally opened up to spicier things so I have switched to hot sausage and never looked back! If you’re one that does not like spice or feeding kids, it is just as delicious!

Garlic Sausage and Spinach Campanelle

  • Package of hot or sweet sausage. Your preference!
  • 2 bags of spinach
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 box of Campanelle pasta (totally my preference, I think this dish tastes the best with this but you can use whatever pasta you’d like!)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Start cooking the pasta according to the directions on the box.

Start browning your sausage. Once browned, chop up your sausage in the pot so all of the sausage drippings stay in.

Put in your garlic, spinach, and some salt and pepper, then stir around real good.

Once your pasta is done cooking, pour into pot along with the olive oil and salt and pepper. I like to add a little more garlic at this point just to make the garlic flavor a little stronger.

Stir everything up, plate, and enjoy! Apparently it’s even more delicious with grated parmesan cheese on top but I am not a cheese eater so I find it just as delicious without if you don’t prefer cheese!

Hope you all have a wonderful week! Busy week for me as it’s my birthday, Valentine’s Day, and our annual Chinese New Year party down south for my grandmas! Whew I am exhausted thinking about it! And just for fun, in reference to my previous post for my DIY dog tux for Franks prom, look who got prom king! I feel so sorry for my future children lol
